I think just my study habits, he said. Just studying more. Working on my techniques more and just being a better player. Of course the biggest change for Swearinger is the new coaching staff brought in. New head coach Bill OBrien has brought a new work ethic to the camp, Swearinger said, and they will get used to the new style with time. Its a lot different man, he said about how camp is this year compared to last year. More hardcore, lot more hard work, not as many breaks and its just something were going to have to adjust to and keep grinding. Now statistically it was a rookie season to remember for Swearinger and a great springboard for his NFL career. But for the team it was a season theyd rather forget, going an NFL-worst 2-14. The record alone is all they need as motivation, Swearinger said, and they are ready for the season opener to get here and put 2013 behind them. Its definitely a chip, he said. We went 2-14 last year, thats the only thing we need to get us motivated. We dont need nothing else. Were just ready to get this thing going with a new coach and a new team. As for how the transition to the Romeo Crennel defense is going, Swearinger said it just boils down to learning new terminology and getting enough reps in the system under your belt.
